Stampin' Up! Thankful Crafty Cupcakes Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Cupcakes Team Stampin' Up! Blog Hop for November 2017. Each month members of the Team take part in our Team Blog Hop to share with you our cards and projects made using the fabulous Stampin' Up! products. You are currently visiting Wendy Porter in the UK and below you will see the full list of everyone taking part. To move to the next blog just click the name after mine in the list.

This month our theme is Thankful,  and I am showcasing a card and a tea bag gift pouch that I made to say thank you to some of my lovely customers.

For both projects I used the fabulous Painted Harvest Stamp set for all the lovely sunflowers and the sentiments were from Painted Harvest and from Jar of Love stamp set.

This month I have had already had so much to be thankful for.  At the beginning of the month, my hubby and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary and he organised a weekend (without me knowing anything until a few days before) .  It was the happiest of weekends and I am still walking on air))  Then last weekend, I joined lots of Stampin' Up demonstrators at On Stage in Solihull and on Sunday the Crafty Cupcake team met and had the best day ever crafting together.  It was brilliant and I am so thankful to all the Crafty Cupcakes for making it such a wonderful day.

For both projects the sunflower is stamped with Marina Mist, then Dapper Denim and the middle was stamped with Smoky Slate.

I love this colour combination, I hope you do too. There are so many colour combinations that can be used, I had a great time trying lots of them before deciding on this one ))

After I stamped the flowers and the sentiment, I added Wink of Stella to all the flowers and wrapped bakers twine around the card and then added a lovely exuberant bow.
This was added to a mat of Dapper Denim and finished off with a scattering of basic jewels.

The tea bag holder was made from Whisper White card stock and shaped into a jar shape using the Envelope punch board.  The lid was made from Smoky Slate card and was scored and liberally applied with Wink of Stella.
The belly band was made using bakers twine and both a 2 1/4" circle and a starburst circle punch.

Thank you once again for visiting my blog and taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss so make sure you carry on hopping through the list.
