October is rushing by and I have been on the Crafty Cupcake Design team for 4 weeks. The projects have all been using the Balloon Celebration stamp set.
This comes with a punch too and I used this for my project today. I love it when there is a punch that coordinates with a stamp ))
Here is the project I made for this week.
This card is a really simple card to make.
I cut a mat of Whisper White cardstock to add to my card front. I cut it 1/8" smaller than the base and stamped Happy Birthday in the centre-ish, using Dapper Denim.
I stamped 4 balloons on a scrap of Whisper White. On two of these I stamped the shadow for the balloon and on the other I stamped to fill in with the colour. I punched all four out.
I placed these on my card mat some with dimensionals and stamped the strings (I stamped off to make the strings a little lighter).
I also added the three little stars in some of the white space.
I added Wink of Stella to my stars and the balloons.
I attached this decorated mat to the card base using fuse, then added a strip of thin Washi across the top and the bottom.
There it is - all done - a simple easy card.
