Crafting with the Crafty Piglets - A fancy fold card

 I do love Thursdays! It's the day the Crafty Piglets gather, via Zoom, and have a chat and craft together.

This week, we made a Fancy Fold card - we all love Fancy Folds.  For this one I was inspired by JanBcards, Thank you Jan.

Here is the sample I made to show the 'Piglets'

I used the lovely Simply Marbleous designers series paper - FREE during Sale-a-bration and the Whale Done stamp set

and here's the one I made during our meeting.

For this one, I went back to my favourite - at the moment - Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper - FREE during Sale-a-bration as well as the coordinating Daffodil Daydream stamp set

For both cards, I applied a light dusting of ink. to the small inner squares and the sentiment piece,  with my Blending Brushes 

Card/paper pieces needed to make a card like these:

Card 1: 4-1/8" x 11-1/2", 2" x 2" (4 pieces)

Card 2: 3-7/8" x 5-1/2" (4 pieces), 1-7/8" x 1-7/8" (4 pieces), 1" x 11"

DSP 1: 3-3/4" x 5-3/8" (2 pieces), 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" (4 pieces)

DSP 2: 3-3/4" x 5-3/8" (2 pieces) note: if you wish you can just cut 4 pieces of dsp 1

BW/VV shape for for sentiment

Card 2 piece to matt behind Sentiment piece

4 BW/VV shapes for stamped/die cut/punched images (no bigger than 1-1/2" x 1-1/2")

Ribbon - approx 26"
