Stampin' Up! In Good Taste - bottle bag

Hello everyone

Todays project is a bag.... a tall bag that will take a bottle of wine.

To make this card I used some of the 12" x 12" In Good Taste designer series paper

The patterns on this paper are realistic and will be so useful for projects for the men in our lives.

Here is the bag I made.

To make this bag I used the following:

In Good Taste designer series paper: cut to 7 1/2" x 12.
Tip: if your paper has an obvious directional pattern, lay your paper so the pattern runs vertically when cutting to 7 1/2"

Gray Granite card: cut to 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" and 2 pieces 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"

To make
Designer Series paper: with short side at top, score at 3 1/2" and 7" on both pieces.
Fold and burnish.  Attach peices together on long side to make one continuous peice.
Add Tear and tape down the remaining tab

Gray Granite card (largest peice): score at 1" and 2" on all sides
Cut from edges to second horizontal score line on 2 oppose sides
Fold and burnish on 2" lines all round. Make up as a tray (open box)
Add glue to card tray above score line, wrap designer series paper piece around the outside top half of the tray, using the 1" score line as a guide to make sure its straight.  When ready, join the designer series paper edges.

Gray Granite card (small square), score at 1".  Fold and burnish.
Attach to 2 opposite sides at top of bag. Making sure that you have the same length of car showing on both sides.  I chose to have just 1" showing outside
Punch holes to thread string for handles. Tie knots on inside ends to secure.
Can be squeezed in at sides too.

There you have it a useful tall bag ))

Thank you for visiting today

Happy Crafting!
