Stampin' Up! Blossoms in Bloom - ink and card

Hello everyone

I do love to stamp... and as I can't draw a stick person or even paint... no honest I can't!   I especially love it when I can use a stamp to create something lovely.

Today I have some cards that are just ink and card.  They are made using the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set and although this set is part of a bundle today, I am just using the stampset and inks.

No, I agree it doesn't look much in black and white does it... but just look what happens when you add coloured ink - coo!

To make these cards card I used the following:

Whisper White A4 thick card:  with short side at top, cut at 5 7/8" turn and score at 5 7/8", fold and burnish  to make a square card

Whisper White card: cut to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"

For these cards I also added a coloured card mat that measures 5 5/8" x 5 5/8"

I stamped the large group of flowers in Mango Melody then stamped the small flower shape in Calypso Coral at the centre.  The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green. Stamp once and without re-inking stamp a second leaf close by, it will be a lighter colour.
The sentiment is stamped in Calypso Coral directyl onto the card front
The card mat used is Calypso Coral
I added some bling for the centre of the flowers

For this card, I stamped the large group of flowers in Highland Heather, stamping off the page in opposite corners.  The centres were stamped in Daffodil Delight and the centre dots in Memento Black ink.
The card mat used is Highland Heather.
The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black ink onto a piece of Whisper White measuring 1" x 1 3/4" then punched at both ends using the Lovely Label Pick a Punch.

Thank you for visiting today

Happy Crafting!
