Stampin' Up! Very Versailles card at Stamp n Sip

Hello everyone

Todays project is a card made using the Very Versailles stamp set.

This is a set, which I have only just purchased.  Its been around a while - its in the annual catalogue.

Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set

Here is the card I made.

Yes, that's right it is a Sympathy card.  The sentiment here is from The Peaceful Moments stamp set - a set that has lots of sentiments on - I love the font on this sentiment.

These are the measurements of the card used:

Whisper White card:  cut in half (4 1/8") on short side, turn and score in half (5 7/8")  on long side
Soft Suede card: 4" x 5 3/4" and scrap for punched shapes
Sahara Sand card: 3 3/4" x 5 1/2"
Whisper White: scrap for punched shape

To create the card:

Fold and burnish the Whisper White card to make the card base

From scrap:
Soft Suede - punch 2 shapes using Label me Lovely punch
Whisper White -  punch 1 shape using Label me Lovely punch

On Sahara Sand card piece, using Sahara Sand ink stamp the leaves and script
Then rub over with Embossing Buddy (make sure ink has dried), then stamp leaves using Versamark
Add White Embossing powder and heat emboss - love watching the magic of heat embossing!

On the Whisper White Label me Lovely punch shape,  stamp the sentiment with Soft Suede ink
Add both Soft Suede punch shapes to the back, just leaving a border round the Whisper White shape

Adhere card mat and stamped piece to card base using Liquid Glue
Add a piece of Tear and Tape to back of punched shapes, add a piece of Burlap Ribbon, then add this topper to the front of the card

Here are the cards made by the ladies at Stamp n Sip.
