The Laptray Crafter : Crafty Piglets with Magnolia Lane Scrapbook page

Hello everyone

Yesterday afternoon, some of my team, we are called the Crafty Piglets, met for a team meeting.

We do this quite regularly, though we see each other at other events it is wonderful to get together and just craft!

We had our meeting at Birchill Farm, just outside of Torrington. Carolyn, a 'Piglet' invited us to her lovely home and her small holding... more of that later.

At our team meetings we always have a chat to bring us all up to speed on the latest offerings by Stampin' Up! and what we are doing in our own businesses and hobbies, then we make something together.

Yesterday we made two spinner type cards, and as they say in Devon... they all did a 'proper job!'

When we had finished Carolyn took us on a tour and we meet some of her animals.... yes there are PIGGEES!!! Whoop! Whoop!! She has 4 altogether... and they are gorgeous... I have loved pigs since quite small, so I really was in seventh heaven!

Of course I took photographs and I decided today to make a scrapbook page.

I used Magnolia Lane Designer Series paper and one of the coordinating dies that are part of the suite to cut out some of the magnolia flowers in the designer series paper. I also fussy cut some of the leaves.

I need to say I don't scrapbook very often, and this is the first time I've filmed myself making a page. It was fun to make and I am thrilled with the end result.

This is going to look fab on my Craft room wall.
