I suddenly realised whilst watching the 6 Nations Rugby that I needed a card for someone's birthday.
So, I quickly made this beautiful card.
I used the gorgeous Lace dynamic textured embossing folder, I carefully placed my card mat in the embossing folder so I got the part of the design I wanted.
It is so lovely I did not want to cover up any of the lace design, so I just stamped Happy and Birthday (from the Well Said stamp set) on Whisper White cardstock, then punched both words with the Classic Label punch and used the punch to fishtail the end. Both of these were then attached to the centre flower of the embossed design and a small punched flower placed over where they joined.
I coloured some basic pearls using a dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blends pen to match the cardstock (have I said that this is my favourite colour) and these were added too.
Tip: The Stampin' blends can be used to apply colour lots of items, so they coordinate with your colour scheme.
That's it a really quick card..... and I forgot to say I stamped a corner design (from the Amazing Life stamp set) on the envelope too 😊
