Be Happy

Hello everyone

I fancied doing some colouring today, and as I needed some thank you cards, I used a stamp from my collection and made these.

I used the lovely Be Thankful stamp from the annual catalogue - love this cute bee ))

All were stamped onto Very Vanilla notecards.

Tip:  when using ink to colour.  Gently dab the top corner face of an ink block  onto the ink pad and use the inky block as a palette.  Apply the ink with the blender pen and gently pulled the colour across the surface.  You do not need to apply much pressure... if you do the surface of the paper fluffs up a bit so just go gently ))

This first card,  I simply stamped with Daffodil  Delight ink and then coloured the words using a Daffodil Delight watercolour pencil.  I used a blender pen to even out colouring.

This  next one was stamped and then coloured using Daffodil Delight ink

This card was stamped in Memento Black ink and coloured using Daffodil Delight ink

This last one was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink.  I added some Daffodil Delight ink to the top parts of the letters and blended the colour downwards.  At the bottom I added some Memento Black and blended the colour upwards.  I left the middle areas clear. I wasn't sure at first, but its grown on me )).

I had a lovely time making all of these, they were simple to stanp and it satisfied my wish to do some colouring too.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.
