Welcome to the Crafty Cupcakes Team Stampin' Up! Blog Hop for February 2018. Each month members of the Team take part in our Team Blog Hop to share with you our cards and projects made using the fabulous Stampin' Up! products. You are currently visiting my blog, Wendy Porter and below you will see the full list of everyone taking part. To move to the next blog just click the name after mine in the list. This month our theme is Fancy Folds.
When I was thinking about a fancy fold project I started looking at You Tube and Pinterest.. and wow! what a selection! There are some very clever people out there. So I thought I would do one I had done before, a Z-fold card, but with a bit of a twist. Am not sure what to call it, but it looks fab and was really enjoyable to make.
As you can see it's a card for a Mum, after all Mothering Sunday is not long away and a friend had asked me to make a card for her mum.
The stamp set I used for this project is Delightful Daisy. This is a real favourite of mine. Also because there is a daisy punch and some beautiful Designer Series Paper, its a great choice for any project. The card stock used for the base, the punched flowers and top layer of letters is Daffodil Delight. The shadow of the letters and the leaves are Old Olive cardstock. Yay! They all coordinate so beautifully!
The letters have been die cut using the Large Letter framelit dies, but if you didn't have the dies, you could add a topper with a greeting stamped on to it.
The Team have worked really hard on our Blog Hop to bring you a variety of creativity and inspiration. Make sure you click the next name on the list to carry on through the Hop.
