Stampin' Up! Balloon Celebration Emerald Envy card

Hello everyone

Thank you for stopping by.

It's week two of October, and the second week on the Crafty Cupcake Design team for the month.  Each week Lea Denton and I, are using the Balloon Celebration stamp set for our projects, so pop over and take at look at Lea's creations.

This comes with a punch too, called Balloon Bouquet, though I didn't use the punch for this project.

Here is the project I made for this week. Its mainly Emerald Envy, love this colour ))

The flower is made of up of lots of the smaller stamps in this set.  I used the circle of dots for the middle then used the stamp that looks like a dandelion sprig (the larger one) to make an edge and then filled in with the smaller image.
To add a little dimension I also stamped the same images with Smokey Slate and some with Versamark to which I added Silver Embossing Powder and set with my heat tool.

When I had finished I punch out the finished flower, using 3 ever decreasing punches ready to layer onto my card.

I stamped the sentiment on the Whisper White Strip, keeping it to the right hand side and attached two punched border pieces in Emerald Envy to the back.  This decorated strip was  placed across the front of my card and attached with Fast Fuse.
On the left hand side of this piece I attached the punched out the flower pieces starting with the larger piece, then adding dimensionals to the next layer and then the last central circle. I made a tower of 4 dimensions for the centre to make it pop out )) but you can add as many as you like.

I painted the whole flower with Clear Wink of Stella too, to finish off the card.

I do hope you will come back next week to see more projects using the Balloon Celebration stamp set.

Bye for now
