Three Christmas Stockings and Two copper pine cones

Hello everyone

Thank you for stopping by.

Its August, and Christmas is still a few months away yet, but at Stamp 'n Sip, the ladies particularly requested that we make some Christmas cards!

There are some beautiful festive stamps and some with matching dies in the annual catalogue, so I set to and made a set of cards ready for them to make.

There were 10 ladies and two young ladies (grandchildren) who came.  3 of the ladies were new to the group and one had never stamped before and the children were new to it too.

During the afternoon, there was much laughter and fun but come the end of the afternoon, all had made two beautiful cards.

Here is a picture of the whole group with their cards.

Brilliant job, ladies!

Here are close up pictures of the cards I made as samples

These were made using the Christmas Pines stamp set.  The pine cones were die cut using Copper foil paper and the Noel was heat emboosed with Copper Embossing Powder - perfect match!

It was lovely seeing the new ladies expression whilst the magic of heat embossing was happening. Its a real thrill... for me too.

This is the second card that was made:

This used the Hang Your Stockings Stamp set with the matching dies.  Lovely!
